Stewards spoke to Mr G Williamson regarding the racing manners of Berringa Blue approaching the home turn.  After hearing evidence from Mr G Williamson, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards took no further action.

Crackerjack Noah underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have abdominal muscle injury.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to Mr Clifford Smith, the representative of Crackerjack Noah regarding the injury to the greyhound.  In accordance with GAR 75(1), the Stewards requested Mr Smith to report as soon as practicable anything that may have affected the running of Crackerjack Noah in the event, which was not noted by Stewards during or immediately after the event.

Sassenach underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have abrasions and spike wounds to all legs.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. 

A post-race sample was taken from Taltarni Black - the winner of the event.

Supplementary Report 22.9.21:

Trainer Mrs Patricia Smith reported to Stewards that upon examination the greyhound Crackerjack Noah presented no further injury but will continue to monitor and seek veterinary advice of required.
