Steward's Report
Hurricane Miami was quick to begin. Too Be Sure was slow to begin. Aston Noah and Meg Rose collided soon after the start. Ready For Sea and Bomber’s Wonder collided on the first turn. Aston Noah, Meg Rose and Too Be Sure collided on the first turn checking Too Be Sure and Meg Rose, Meg Rose fell as a result. Ready For Sea raced wide on the home turn.
Meg Rose underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have a fractured right humerus/elbow. A 90 day stand down period was imposed.
Following the running of this event, Stewards inspected the track from the back straight to the home turn and were satisfied it was satisfactory for racing.
