Ludgate was quick to begin. La Blonde was slow to begin.

Rock Me Mama, Ludgate and Hint Of Mint collided on the first turn checking Rock Me Mama and Ludgate. Rock Me Mama checked off Ludgate approaching the home turn.

Rock Me Mama underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was found.

Stewards spoke to Mr. Targ Pipczak, the trainer of Rock Me Mama regarding the greyhounds performance on the home turn.  In accordance with GAR 75, the Stewards requested Mr. Pipczak to report as soon as practicable anything that may have affected the running of Rock Me Mama in the event, which was not noted by Stewards during or immediately after the event. 

Supplementary Report 15.9.21:  Trainer, Mr. Targ Pipczak notified Stewards that Rock Me Mama was found to have a pinched nerve. 

Aston Hartlett and Cool Militant were quick to begin.

Need A Hand, Aston Houston and Charlotte's Hand collided soon after the start checking Aston Houston. Aston Burton, Aston Hartlett and Charlotte's Hand collided on the first turn checking Need A Hand and Charlotte's Hand. Old Mate Paddy checked off Aston Burton on the home turn.

Bingo Ringo was slow to begin.

Island Chief and Cruickshank collided soon after the start. Emma's Image turned it's head outwards on the first turn and collided with War Of Words severely checking War Of Words, Kiarni Connor and Painkiller.

Emma's Image underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have spike wounds to the 5th right hind toe. No stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mrs. Julie Chilcott, the representative of Emma's Image regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the first turn.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A(1) Emma's Image was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Mrs. Chilcott pleaded guilty to the charge, Emma's Image was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Bendigo and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69A (2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Fugacious – New declared weight of 27.3 kg, last raced at 26.1 kg.

True Collinda was slow to begin.

Another Mirage, Fugacious and All Over Max collided soon after the start. Another Mirage and Fugacious collided approaching the home turn checking Another Mirage. Fugacious contacted the running rail on the home turn checking Fugacious which collided with Pirate Lee. True Collinda brushed the running rail in the home straight.

Fugacious underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was found.

Sugar Shane and Lala Hibiscus were slow to begin.

Swift Brittany, Another Episode, Instruction and All Inn Dungee collided on the first turn checking Another Episode. Darra Onyx checked off Ten Dollar Slaps in the back straight.

Blue Vein and Cool Limit collided on the first turn checking Cool Limit. Zipping Tiffany and Spitfire Striker collided entering the back straight. Eagle Boy raced wide in the back straight. Blue Vein checked off Sudoku Cobra in the back straight. Blue Vein and Cool Limit collided on the second turn checking both greyhounds. Blue Vein and Spitfire Striker collided on the home turn checking both greyhounds. Cool Limit checked off Blue Vein on the home turn. Eagle Boy raced wide entering the home straight and in the home straight.

Bark Healy was slow to begin.

Ready To Launch and Weblec Eagle collided soon after the start. Roxy Quaker, Ready To Launch and Weblec Eagle collided on the first turn checking Ready To Launch. Weblec Eagle and Bark Healy collided entering the back straight checking Bark Healy.

Ready To Launch underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hock sprain. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Regal Missile, Aston Remi, Disco Riot and Double Tactic collided on the first turn checking all four greyhounds. Cornhill Tiger, Rear View Mirror and Got The Torque collided on the second turn checking Rear View Mirror and Got The Torque.

Earn The Loot underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left monkey muscle injury. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Aston Select underwent a veterinary examination prior to racing and was passed fit to race.
