Steward's Report
Bingo Ringo was slow to begin.
Island Chief and Cruickshank collided soon after the start. Emma's Image turned it's head outwards on the first turn and collided with War Of Words severely checking War Of Words, Kiarni Connor and Painkiller.
Emma's Image underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have spike wounds to the 5th right hind toe. No stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mrs. Julie Chilcott, the representative of Emma's Image regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the first turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A(1) Emma's Image was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mrs. Chilcott pleaded guilty to the charge, Emma's Image was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Bendigo and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69A (2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
