A pre-race sample was taken from Banjo Glitter.
Hurricane Pete and Love A Collision collided approaching the first turn. Hurricane Pete and Bag Of Tricks collided on the first turn. Dr. Mumma crossed to the rail on the first turn and collided with Banjo Glitter checking Dr. Mumma and Banjo Glitter. Love A Collision, Bag Of Tricks and Almapa Sunshine collided on the first turn checking Love A Collision, severely checking Bag Of Tricks and Almapa Sunshine. Love A Collision raced wide in the home straight.
Hurricane Pete underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured right monkey muscle. A 3 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr. J. Sultana and discussed the frequency of racing of Hurricane Pete. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate of clearance before any future nomination will be accepted pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v).
Almapa Sunshine underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured right deltoid muscle. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
