Zipping Kay underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported.

The Stewards discussed the frequency of racing of Panadero Grace with Mr. J. Sultana and noted his comments.

Stewards opened an inquiry regarding an incident which occurred during the parade to the starting boxes prior to this event involving licensed participant Ms. Margaret Campbell. This matter was adjourned to a date to be fixed. Stewards resumed and completed this inquiry on Tuesday, September 7 2021 via telephone call to Ms. Campbell. After considering all the available evidence, no charges were laid. Ms. Campbell was reminded of her responsibilities as a licensed participant to act in accordance with the relevant rules of racing. 

Connor Man was quick to begin.

Ms. J. Gill was fined $50 for failing to ensure the registration card was produced for the greyhound Claydon, pursuant to GAR 33(4).

Claydon and Call Me Harvey were quick to begin.  Locked And Ready went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin.  

Bernadette and Bubba Jo collided soon after the start checking Bubba Jo.  Bernadette and Party Doll collided approaching the home turn.  Bernadette and Locked And Ready collided on the home turn.

Locked And Ready underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration on the right upper eyelid.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Klopp and Say You Will collided approaching the first turn checking Klopp.  Just A Minute clipped the heels of Weeona Jack on the first turn causing Just A Minute and Claretown Dermot to collide.  Write About Her, Weeona Jack and Klopp collided approching the home turn.  Claretown Dermot clipped the heels of Weeona Jack approaching the home turn checking Weeona Jack; Claretown Dermot fell as a result.  Write About Her and Klopp collided on the home turn.

Claretown Dermot underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured left triangle muscle.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Hurricane Pete underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured right monkey muscle.  A 3 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr. J. Sultana and discussed the frequency of racing of Hurricane Pete. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate of clearance before any future nomination will be accepted pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v).

Almapa Sunshine underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured right deltoid muscle.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Mac Rooster was slow to begin.

Callum Ari and Aston Valkyrie collided on the first turn severely checking Aston Valkyrie.  Callum Ari and Inuka collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.
