Steward's Report
The Stewards discussed the frequency of racing of Panadero Grace with Mr. J. Sultana and noted his comments.
A pre-race sample was taken from My Gem.
My Gem was quick to begin.
Winslet Bale, Panadero Grace and Floppy Roo collided approaching the first turn checking Panadero Grace and Winslet Bale. Feel The Thunder, Mia’s Hand and Floppy Roo collided on the first turn checking Floppy Roo.
Panadero Grace underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards opened an inquiry regarding an incident which occurred during the parade to the starting boxes prior to this event involving licensed participant Ms. Margaret Campbell. This matter was adjourned to a date to be fixed. Stewards resumed and completed this inquiry on Tuesday, September 7 2021 via telephone call to Ms. Campbell. After considering all the available evidence, no charges were laid. Ms. Campbell was reminded of her responsibilities as a licensed participant to act in accordance with the relevant rules of racing.
