Financial Tarra was slow to begin.
Long Black Lass, Trust I Seek and Reggae Mikado collided approaching the first turn. Financial Tarra faltered entering the back straight and subsequently tailed off. Mussa Jack and Long Black Lass collided in the back straight checking Long Black Lass.
Financial Tarra underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right metatarsal fracture. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Seamer - the winner of the event.
