Steward's Report
The Stewards discussed the frequency of racing of Hurricane Miami with Mrs. V. Sultana and noted her comments.
Speed Demon and Get Around Me were quick to begin. Parumba Barcia went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin. Stunning One and Speed Demon collided approaching the first turn checking Stunning One. Armstrong Bobby was checked off Parumba Barcia on the first turn. Armstrong Bobby, Hurricane Miami and Panadero Grace collided on the first turn severely checking Panadero Grace. Armstrong Bobby was checked off Stunning One in the home straight.
Hurricane Miami underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported.
A post race sample was taken from Pilot Pete - winner of the event.
