Essential persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings, wore facemasks, observed social distance requirements, and adhered to room density quotients that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Darnum Dancer was checked off Dundee Velvet soon after the start.  Barnaby Blitz and Forever A Dream collided soon after the start.  Darnum Dancer was checked off Barnaby Blitz approaching the first turn.  Darnum Dancer was checked off Forever A Dream approaching the first turn severely checking Darnum Dancer.  Barnaby Blitz was checked off Weeona Jack entering the home straight. Barnaby Blitz raced wide in the home straight.  Forever A Dream and Run Topper collided approaching the winning post.

Lemon was quick to begin.  Starter’s King was very slow to begin (3 lengths).  Mt. View Bee crossed in approaching the first turn and collided with Lemon.  Mt. View Bee and Jazzy Minter collided on the first turn.  Starter’s King, Mt. View Pearl and Lemon collided on the first turn.  My Annabelle was checked off Starter’s King entering the home straight.  Mt. View Pearl and Lemon collided several times from in the home straight to the winning post.

Elswyk Suzie was quick to begin.  Mt. View Buck was slow to begin.  Airly Liberty, Elswyk Suzie and Crystal Edition collided approaching the first turn.  Andrea’s Gift visibly eased on the first turn.  Aqua Blaze was checked off Andrea’s Gift on the home turn.  Airly Liberty raced wide in the home straight. Andrea’s Gift visibly eased approaching the winning post.

Andrea’s Gift underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported. Representative Mr. G. Condon declined his option to have the greyhound re-vetted.

Stewards spoke to Mr. G. Condon, the representative for Andrea’s Gift regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the first turn and again approaching the winning post.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A(1) Andrea’s Gift was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Mr. Condon pleaded guilty to the charge, Andrea’s Gift was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Warragul and must perform a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 69A(2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

The Stewards discussed the frequency of racing of Hurricane Miami with Mrs. V. Sultana and noted her comments.

Speed Demon and Get Around Me were quick to begin.  Parumba Barcia went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin.  Stunning One and Speed Demon collided approaching the first turn checking Stunning One.  Armstrong Bobby was checked off Parumba Barcia on the first turn. Armstrong Bobby, Hurricane Miami and Panadero Grace collided on the first turn severely checking Panadero Grace. Armstrong Bobby was checked off Stunning One in the home straight.  

Hurricane Miami underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported.

Captain Warrior was slow to begin.  Big City Nights and Dundee Zircon collided soon after the start. Good Boy Colombo and Dundee Zircon collided approaching the first turn.  Big City Nights raced wide on the first turn.  Prada Gem, My Wanderer and Good Boy Colombo collided on the home turn. Captain Warrior crossed out on the home turn.  

Dundee Zircon underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured right hamstring.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Shaun John was quick to begin.  Elswyk Sophie and Stanley Boy collided approaching the first turn. Elswyk Sophie was checked off Manila Shine on the first turn checking Totally Balanced. Melanistic and Heckle Me collided approaching the home turn.

About Bob was slow to begin.  Fourth Dimention and My Dad Baz collided approaching the first turn. Red Sunset and Liberty Royal collided on the first turn.  My Dad Baz and Rag Time Griff collided approaching the home turn checking My Dad Baz. Red Sunset and My Dad Baz collided on the home turn checking My Dad Baz.  About Bob raced wide on the home turn.  Bit Of Pepper and Liberty Royal collided entering the home straight.  About Bob raced wide in the home straight.

Diamond Cartel– Late scratching at 14.05 due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer,Mr. Lindsay Fulford was fined $100.

Cooped Up and Swedish Duchess collided soon after the start and again on the first turn.  High Priority and Run To You collided soon after the start.  High Priority and Black Power collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn.

Stewards spoke to Mr. T. Currie, the trainer of Run To You and issued a warning regarding his failure to comply with the starter’s instructions and his subsequent difficulties boxing the greyhound.

Stewards withheld ‘all clear‘ after the starter activated the green light prematurely.  After viewing all available video footage and acting on their own observations Stewards were satisfied High Priority was not disadvantaged and the ‘all clear’ given.

Stewards spoke to Mr. Larry Sullivan - starter, regarding his activation of the green light before the boxing of High Priority was completed.  The matter was  referred to the Club Manager for his further consideration and remediation.

Elswyk Rocky was quick to begin.  Strike Two was slow to begin.  It’s All Luck was checked off Flamin’ Sam soon after the start.  It’s All Luck, Carnivore and Lonesome Bee collided on the first turn.  Strike Two was checked off Flamin’ Sam entering the home straight.

How High Austin and Ballymac Woman were slow to begin.  Bomber’s Queen and Rev The Jockey collided approaching the first turn.  Highway Man was checked off Will’s Bella approaching the first turn.  Bomber’s Queen and How High Austin collided on the first turn.  Rev The Jockey and How High Austin collided on the first turn checking Rev The Jockey.

Love A Collision and Man Cave were slow to begin.  Brazen King and Star Hawk collided on the first turn checking Brazen King.  Anubis Al clipped the heels of Ready For Sea on the first turn.  Brazen King and Belt Up Dusty collided on the first turn checking Belt Up Dusty.  Go Gem and Man Cave collided on the home turn and again entering the home straight checking both greyhounds.  Love A Collision, Go Gem and Ready For Sea raced wide in the home straight.

Star Hawk underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured left back muscle.  A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Princess America was quick to begin.  Captain Goldie, Pine Gem and Snap Decision were slow to begin.  Captain Goldie and Lennie’s Flyer collided approaching the first turn.  Mighty Matilda was checked off Urana Vieri approaching the first turn.  Princess America galloped on Snap Decision on the first turn checking Rocks Got Talent and severely checking Princess America, Urana Vieri, Mighty Matilda, Captain Goldie and Snap Decision, Snap Decision fell as a result

Snap Decision underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured left calf muscle and right triangle muscle.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
