Essential persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings, wore facemasks, observed social distance requirements, and adhered to room density quotients that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Zurial Bale, Kid Tullamore, Greysynd Awe and Xavi Bale were slow to begin. Greysynd Awe and Florida Quay collided approaching the first turn. Rahela Bale and Greysynd Awe collided approaching the first turn. Greysynd Awe turned its head outwards and collided with Rahela Bale on the first turn, checking Greysynd Awe, Rahela Bale and severely checking Blackpool Kaine. Greysynd Awe and Zurial Bale collided on the home turn. Kid Tullamore and Xavi Bale collided on the home turn. Happy Dance and Greysynd Awe collided approaching the winning post. 

Greysynd Awe underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left deltoid and thigh muscle injury, a 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Trainer, Mr A.Armstrong regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the first turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Greysynd Awe was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Armstrong pleaded not guilty to the charge, Greysynd Awe was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial  in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Blackpool Kaine underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hamstring injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Gene's Entity and False Alarm collided approaching the first turn. Dennis Delight, Gene's Entity and Coraline Bale collided on the first turn. Gene's Entity galloped on the heels of Dennis Delight approaching the home turn, severely checking Gene's Entity, Coraline Bale and Dennis Delight. Moira Rose and False Alarm collided entering the home straight. Coraline Bale and Dennis Delight collided in the home straight. 

Coraline Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

Stewards spoke to Trainer Ms T.Kennnedy-Harris regarding the racing manners of Coraline Bale in the home straight. After hearing evidence from Ms Kennedy-Harris, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight.

Can I Rock was quick to begin. All Inn Olivia was slow to begin. Global Jewel and All Inn Olivia collided approaching the first turn, checking Global Jewel. Global Jewel and Neesa Giblet collided several times on the home turn, entering the home striaght and again in the home straight.

A pre-race sample was taken from Brecken Bale.

Mcivor Specks was slow to begin. Little Spriggy and Brecken Bale collided soon after the start, checking Little Spriggy. Brecken Bale, Ava's Prediction and Glenore Lass collided on the first turn, checking Ava's Prediction. Glenore Lass and Mcivor Specks collided approaching the home turn, checking Mcivor Speck which stumbled. Brecken Bale and Strike The Pose collided in the home straight. Brecken Bale and Trending Wave collided approaching the winning post. 

Mcivor Specks underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Trending River and Rock Icon were slow to begin. Cullquin Vincent, Darra Dawnne, Yuna Bale and Lala Hibiscus collided on the first turn, severely checking Cullquin Vincent. Yuna Bale, Lala Hibiscus and Darra Dawnne collided approaching the second turn, checking Rock Icon. Lala Hibiscus and Rock Icon collided approaching the home turn. Darra Dawnne raced wide in the home straight. 

Papa Panda was slow to begin. Stride For Pride, See Me Willow and Papa Panda collided on the first turn, checking See Me Willow and Papa Panda. Daisy Hill Lad and Blue Vein collided approaching the second turn and again on the second turn, checking Daisy Hill Lad. 

A post-race sample was taken from Blue Vein - the winner of the event.

Meatball Soup and College Boy collided approaching the first turn. Mcivor Bluey, Meatball Soup, Irongate, College Boy and Aston Paquin collided on the first turn, severely checking Mcivor Bluey and Aston Paquin. Meatball Soup and Crazy Old Fool collided on the home turn. Meatball Soup and Roxy Rum Pumper collided in the home straight.

Smooth Talker was slow to begin. Barwidgi, Gold Black, Rezzie's Shout, Resurrection and Sugar Spice collided on the first turn, checking Gold Black. Resurrection and Rezzie's Shout collided approaching the second turn, checking Rezzie's Shout. Gold Black and Sugar Spice collided on the home turn, severely checking Gold Black. Barwidgi and Sugar Spice collided approaching the winning post. 

Due to a technical malfunction this event was hand timed.

Devon Lass, Ruby Arizona and Sadie Rose collided approaching the first turn, checking Ruby Arizona. Devon Lass and Sadie Rose collided on the first turn, checking Sadie Rose.

A post-race sample was taken from Berringa Blue - the winner of the event.

Silver Compass and Kraken Storm collided approaching the first turn. Burn Your Name and Darley Dynamo collided on the first turn, checking Burn Your Name. Silver Compass, Kraken Storm, Especial Elise and Burn Your Name collided on the first turn, severely checking Especial Elise. 

Kraken Latte and Jimmy Cheesecake collided approaching the first turn. Jimmy Cheesecake and Madame Pookie collided on the first turn, checking Jimmy Cheesecake which collided with Kraken Latte, checking Kraken Latte. Grudge and Way Up North collided approaching the home turn. Kraken Latte and Way Up North collided on the home turn. Madame Pookie and Sizzlin' Sanchez collided approaching the winning post. 

Prince Hector went up with the lids at box rise, stumbled and was not competitive in the event. Teardrop and Quicker Than Joe collided approaching the first turn, checking Teardrop. Quicker Than Joe and Darley Park collided approaching the home turn. Darley Park and Major Bourbski collided in the home straight. 

Prince Hector underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have abrasions to the right hind legs and left bicep muscle. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr R.Kenworthy, the trainer of Prince Hector regarding its performance in this event.  Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71, Prince Hector must perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Meeting Comments:

The Stewards were advised that the track was lightly harrowed on 9 August.

Kiarni Connor – Fail To Chase - Field of 4, Distance 425m, Weight 34.9kg, Box 1, Placed 2nd, Time Run 24.93. Kiarni Connor - Comment: Not Cleared as the greyhound eased approaching the winning post. 

Evil Entry – Marring/Blinkers On - Field of 4, Distance 425m, Weight 28.3kg, Box 5, Placed 3rd, Time Run 25.77. Evil Entry - Comment: Not Cleared as the greyhound eased on the home turn. 

Gem Victorem – Blinkers Off - Field of 4, Distance 425m, Weight 29.1kg, Box 8, Placed 1st, Time Run 24.77. Gem Victorem - Comment: Cleared All Tracks to race without Blinkers.
