Steward's Report
Prince Hector went up with the lids at box rise, stumbled and was not competitive in the event. Teardrop and Quicker Than Joe collided approaching the first turn, checking Teardrop. Quicker Than Joe and Darley Park collided approaching the home turn. Darley Park and Major Bourbski collided in the home straight.
Prince Hector underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have abrasions to the right hind legs and left bicep muscle. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr R.Kenworthy, the trainer of Prince Hector regarding its performance in this event. Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71, Prince Hector must perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
Meeting Comments:
The Stewards were advised that the track was lightly harrowed on 9 August.
Kiarni Connor – Fail To Chase - Field of 4, Distance 425m, Weight 34.9kg, Box 1, Placed 2nd, Time Run 24.93. Kiarni Connor - Comment: Not Cleared as the greyhound eased approaching the winning post.

Gem Victorem – Blinkers Off - Field of 4, Distance 425m, Weight 29.1kg, Box 8, Placed 1st, Time Run 24.77. Gem Victorem - Comment: Cleared All Tracks to race without Blinkers.
