An out of competition sample was taken from Impatient Arty on Friday, 13 August 2021 pursuant to GAR 79A.
A pre-race sample was taken from Millie's Wonder.
Naha went up with the lids at box rise and was very slow to begin (4L).
Quinnlee Giblet and Blazin' Diamonds collided soon after the start; checking Blazin' Diamonds, Perpetuate and Caribbean Queen. Funny Enough and Blazin' Diamonds collided on the first turn; checking both greyhounds. Impatient Arty and Millie's Wonder collided on the first turn and again approaching the home turn; checking Millie's Wonder, Blazin' Diamonds and Funny Enough. Perpetuate checked off Impatient Arty on the home turn and again entering the home straight.
Millie's Wonder underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
Naha underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have abrasions to the right and left forelegs. No stand down period was imposed.
