Miss Molly May went up with the lids at box rise. Ivory Boy and Marshall Giblet collided soon after the start, checking Marshall Giblet. Miss Molly May checked off President Peggy soon after the start. King Cujo galloped on Pat May Joy on the first turn; checking both greyhounds. Ivory Boy raced wide on the home turn, checking Miss Molly May.
