Essential persons (both staff and participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings, wore face masks, observed social distance requirements, and adhered to room density quotients that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

The closing time of kennelling was altered in accordance with GAR 31 due to the late arrival of Ms S. Elmes.  Prior to kennelling Ms Elmes telephoned to advise that she had a vehicle issue.  The kennels closed at 2.09pm.

Emma's Will - New declared weight of 26.7kgs, last raced at 25.3kgs.

Stewards delayed the 'All Clear' in order to review the positioning of the lure in the event, with reference to GAR 55 (1).  After reviewing all available video footage and acting on their own observations, Stewards were satisfied that no runner was substantially inconvenienced so as to affect the outcome of the event and therefore the 'All-Clear' was declared.  

Emma's Will and Eynesbury Flyer were quick to begin.  Chasing The Edge was slow to begin.

Star Daze, Elvis Osti and Shadow Giblet collided approaching the first turn checking Star Daze.  Elvis Osti and Shadow Giblet collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Shadow Giblet crossed in on the first turn checking Elvis Osti, Star Daze, Mt. View Moon and Chasing The Edge causing Mt. View Moon to brush the running rail.  Mt. View Moon and Star Daze collided on the home turn checking Star Daze causing Elvis Osti and Chasing The Edge to race wide.

Yareli Bale - The frequency of racing was discussed with representative Mrs T. Kennedy-Harris; her comments were noted.

Yareli Bale and Mt. View Burner were slow to begin.

Mt. View Bee crossed out soon after the start checking Celtic Deed.  Celtic Deed and Yareli Bale collided approaching the first turn checking Yareli Bale.  Mt. View Bee, Next Teardrop and Lulu Osti collided several times approaching the first turn and on the first turn checking Classy Edition, Next Teardrop and Mt. View Burner, severely checking Lulu Osti and Mt. View Bee, causing Lulu Osti to lose considerable ground and Mt. View Bee to fall.  Celtic Deed crossed out on the home turn checking Classy Edition and Next Teardrop.  Mt. View Burner checked off Next Teardrop in the home straight causing both greyhounds to lose ground.  Yareli Bale and Mt. View Burner collided in the home straight.

Mt. View Bee underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a minor abrasion to webbing on the right hind paw.  No stand down period was imposed.

Lulu Osti underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr Malcolm Carr regarding the racing manners of Celtic Deed on the first turn.  After hearing evidence from Mr Carr, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the first turn.

Coraline Bale and Barbarian were slow to begin.

Coraline Bale and Barbarian collided soon after the start checking Barbarian.  Coraline Bale, Natalia Lee and Feel The Breeze collided on the first turn checking Natalia Lee.  Barbarian raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight.

Elusive Kel was quick to begin.  Dr. Perry and Autumn Lynx were slow to begin.

Matchbox Queen, Shimmering Satin and Crystal Edition collided on the first turn checking Shimmering Satin and Crystal Edition.  Lily Rose Harper and Crystal Edition collided approaching the home turn checking Crystal Edition and Dr. Perry.

Hurricane Red underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right wrist sprain.  A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Hurricane Miami - The frequency of racing was discussed with trainer Mrs V. Sultana; her comments were noted.

Bag Of Tricks, Half A Double and Hurricane Keely were slow to begin.

Bag Of Tricks, Pacific Bar and Why Not Rose collided on the first turn checking Pacific Bar and Junket Jarrod.  Hurricane Miami and Hurricane Keely collided approaching the home turn.  Why Not Rose checked off Belt Up Dusty approaching the home turn checking Belt Up Dusty.  Hurricane Keely raced wide in the home straight.

Hurricane Miami underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

Trainer Mr Leigh Carter requested an early race endorsement for Why Not Gazza.  The Stewards approved the request after an examination prior to racing by the on-track veterinarian.  Why Not Gazza will compete in early races until further notice.

Rosta Power was quick to begin.  Why Not Gazza was slow to begin.

Piece Of Heaven underwent a post-race veterinary examination due to a fall after the finish line and was found to have a left hind toe fracture and laceration. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.

Rocks Got Talent - New declared weight of 31.4kgs, last raced at 29.9kgs.

Mt. View Ginger and Will's Bella were quick to begin.

Blazin' Jewel and Little Blazer collided approaching the first turn checking Blazin' Jewel, Little Blazer, Chasing Love and Way To Stand.  Way To Stand and Chasing Love collided on the first turn and again on the home turn.  Will's Bella and Mt. View Ginger collided approaching the winning post.  Blazin' Jewel and Rocks Got Talent collided approaching the winning post.

Master Febey was quick to begin.

Akina Ivy and Lightning Fury collided in the front straight checking Akina Ivy.  Akina Ivy faltered entering the back straight and tailed off.

Akina Ivy underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hock fracture.  A 90 day stand down period was imposed.
