Steward's Report
Yoshiro Bale and Darley Lass were slow to begin.
Johnny Fatboy, Gem Victorem and Burn Bella Burn collided soon after the start. Johnny Fatboy, Burn Bella Burn and White Nikita collided on the first turn and again entering the back straight. Burn Bella Burn, Butterfly Indee, White Nikita, Yoshiro and Darley Lass collided in the back straight. Burn Bella Burn and Butterfly Indee collided approaching the second turn. Burn Bella Burn checked off Butterfly Indee approaching the home turn. Burn Bella Burn and Darley Lass collided approaching the home turn. Butterfly Indee and Blue Cherry Miss collided approaching the home turn and in the home straight.
Blue Cherry Miss underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
Butterfly Indee underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left triangle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr Thomas Boehmke regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the home turn After hearing evidence from Mr. Boehmke, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards took no further action.
A post-race sample was taken from Johnny Fatboy - the winner of the event. Stewards spoke to Mrs Pauline Patterson, the trainer of Johnny Fatboy as some noticeable betting fluctuations were noted by Stewards. The comments of Mr. Patterson were noted.
In accordance with LR 22 Mr Richard Gray was issued with a warning regarding the non-compliance with the GRV Dress Code.
