Steward's Report
Essential persons (both staff and participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings, wore face masks, observed social distance requirements, and adhered to room density quotients that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.
The Stewards were advised that the track was medium harrowed on 6 August 2021.
Stewards conducted a check of the catcher’s licences in accordance with LRR 16.2 and all were compliant.
Lap To Far, Jessie's Brew, Raptor and Ombra were quick to begin. Kinloch Geek was slow to begin.
Majestic Stella and Waylin Bale collided soon after the start. Lap To Far and Jessie's Brew collided approaching the first turn. Majestic Steela, Lap To Far and Waylin Bale collided on the first turn checking Waylin Bale and Lap To Far, Lap To Far lost ground. Gene's Entity and Ombra collided approaching the home turn. Ombra and Majestic Stella raced wide on the home turn. Ombra and Majestic Stella collided in the home straight.
Lap To Far underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left groin injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Raptor - the winner of the event.
