All staff & participants attending the race meeting wore face masks at all times when inside the kennel block and associated buildings, and when engaged in the exclusive race day functions of boxing, starting, and catching greyhounds.

Bomber's Train - Late scratching at 14:25pm due to weight variation (GAR 39).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Trainer, Mr Geoffrey Green was fined $100.  Bomber's Train underwent a kennelling veterinary examination - no apparent illness was reported. 

Brilliant Loch was quick to begin.  Oddball Armo and Oda May were slow to begin.

Elswyk Jordy checked off Zippy Customer on the first turn.  Elswyk Jordy checked off Oddball Armo on the first turn.  Zippy Customer crossed out on the home turn and collided with Oda May.  Brilliant Loch and Elswyk Sky collided several times in the home straight.  Elswyk Jordy and Elswyk Sky collided approaching the winning post.

Rubinton, Coalville Jewel and Aqua Blaze collided approaching the first turn checking Coalville Jewel and Aqua Blaze.  Run Topper and Rubinton collided on the first turn.  Rubinton galloped on Prada Gem on the first turn causing Prada Gem to fall.  Queen Charisma galloped on Mikado Gal on the first turn severely checking Queen Charisma.  Queen Charisma and Coalville Jewel collided on the home turn.  Rubinton crossed out on the home turn and collided with Queen Charisma, severely checking Queen Charisma.

Queen Charisma underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left monkey injury and a left hind leg abrasion.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

Prada Gem underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right calf injury and a right hind leg abrasion.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Uncle Fester underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following Race 12, no apparent injury could be detected.  Stewards spoke to Mr Rodney Lund, the representative of Uncle Fester regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A (1) Uncle Fester was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Mr Lund pleaded not guilty to the charge, was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Warragul and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69A (2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
