Amelia Ella, Ernie Prang and Man Of Substance collided soon after the start checking Ernie Prang which faultered as a result and lost ground. Amelia Ella and Eternal Ten collided on the first turn. Tom's Express checked off Eternal Ten on the home turn.
Alpine Blaze - The inside blinker became displaced during the event. Representative Mr John Galea was instructed to ensure the blinkers used on this greyhound today were in good repair at its next start.
