Steward's Report
Black Beaver - Late scratching at 2.05pm by order of Stewards after it was established that the incorrect greyhound had been presented. At a subsequent inquiry, the Stewards charged Trainer Mrs A. Gibbons with a breach of GAR 31 for failing to present the correct greyhound to the Stewards for this event. Mrs Gibbons pleaded guilty and was fined $250, the 28 day stand-down on Black Beaver was revoked.
Loretta Bale and Red Sunset collided approaching the first turn. Zipping Petra and Jupiter King collided approaching the first turn checking Jupiter King. Zipping Petra and Toy Soldier collided on the first turn checking Zipping Petra and Just Admit It. Jupiter King and Toy Soldier collided on the home turn. Toy Soldier and Just Admit It collided entering the home straight checking both greyhounds.
