Steward's Report
All persons attending the venue today carried face masks, observed social distance requirements, and maintained room density quotients for the race meeting.
Mt. View Pearl – Late scratching at 1:47pm under GAR 37(4) on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian after the greyhound was found to be infested with fleas. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate of clearance stating the condition no longer exists before any future nomination will be accepted.
Galloping Suzy – New declared weight of 27.3kg, last raced at 28.4kg.
Galloping Suzy was quick to begin. Another Schooner and Bowler's Name were slow to begin and collided soon after the start, checking Another Schooner. Starlight Blaze, Asofa Solomona and Secret Key collided on the first turn checking Asofa Solomon and Secret Key. Asofa Solomona checked off Serctet Key approaching the home turn. Another Schooner and Asofa Solomona collided on the home turn. Starlight Blaze crossed in and checked off Mt. View Road in the home straight.
Another Schooner underwent a post-race veterinary examination after falling in the catching pen. Another Schooner was found to have a right hip muscle injury and abrasions on the right hindleg. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
