All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore face masks that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

The Stewards were advised that the track was lightly harrowed on1 June 2021.

A sample was taken from Joyous Sensation upon arrival at the course.

Zipping Chuck, Joyous Sensation, Shrinking and Criminal were slow to begin.

Zardora and Joyous Memory collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Zardora, Joyous Memory, Hiring and Shrinking collided approaching the home turn checking Joyous Memory, Hiring and Shrinking, causing Hiring and Shrinking to race wide on the home turn.  

Criminal underwent a post-race veterinary examination due to an incident in the catching pen and was found to have an abrasion to the left metacarpal. No stand down period was imposed. 

Security Man – Late scratching at 6.10pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer, Mr Neville Wakefield was fined $100.

Midnight Switch and Aston Sabelle were quick to begin.

Invictus Yana crossed in soon after the start checking Latchi's Girl, Dr. Francisco and Prada Gem.  Midnight Switch brushed the running rail approaching the home turn checking Midnight Switch.  Midnight Switch checked off Aston Sabelle approaching the home turn.  Midnight Switch crossed in entering the home straight checking Latchi's Girl and Prada Gem.  Midnight Switch and Latchi's Girl collided in the home straight checking Latchi's Girl.

Zipping Chew was slow to begin.

Eye Spy Skye and Fat Cracker collided approaching the first turn.  Andrea's Gift and Kip Your Star collided approaching the first turn checking Andrea's Gift.  Zipping Chew and Aston Kayee collided on the first turn.  

A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Eye Spy Skye, a post-race sample was subsequently taken.

Galloping Occy checked off His Stop It approaching the first turn.  Riccarton Matt checked off His Stop It on the first turn.  Riccarton Matt and Galloping Occy collided on the second turn.  Riccarton Matt checked off His Stop It on the third turn.  His Stop It and Meat Murphy collided on the fifth turn checking Riccarton Matt and Meat Murphy.  

Galloping Occy underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request and was found to have an abrasion to the left hind foot.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

A post-race blood sample was taken from Galloping Occy - winner of the event.

An investigation and inquiry was opened with Mr Gerry Orr into the integrity of this race and withdrawals of Heaven's Tower and Master Febey from the event. Veterinary Certificates in accordance with GAR 20 (3) (v) have been ordered by Stewards for both greyhounds and Treatment Logbooks requested. The inquiry is ongoing and has been adjourned to a date and time to be fixed.

Zipping Loxley, Between Jobs and Get On Beers were slow to begin.

Humanity, Shall She Charm and Get On Beers collided on the first turn.  Zipping Loxley and Between Jobs collided on the first turn causing Between Jobs to race wide.  Get On Beers and Alpine Blaze collided on the second turn. Humanity, Zipping Loxley and Shall She Charm collided on the second turn.  Shall She Charm and Alpine Blaze collided in the back straight.  Get On Beers and Alpine Blaze collided on the third turn.  Shall She Charm and Between Jobs collided on the home turn.  Shall She Charm, Between Jobs and Alpine Blaze collided in the home straight.  

Cherokee Cat and Lemonade Kid were quick to begin.  Allie Novak was slow to begin.

Riccarton Weaver and Cherokee Cat collided approaching the first turn.  Parumba Rebel and Royal Gossip collided approaching the first turn checking Royal Gossip.  Parumba Rebel and Riccarton Weaver collided on the first turn.  Allie Novak and Royal Gossip collided on the first turn.  Mala Ruby and Lemonade Kid collided on the home turn.  Aeroplane Miss, Mala Ruby, Allie Novak and Royal Gossip raced wide in the home turn.  Mala Ruby and Royal Gossip collided in the home straight.  Mala Ruby checked off Aeroplane Miss in the home straight.

He's A Minstrel and Go Emmy Go were slow to begin.

Bus Driver and Why Not Bazzar collided on the first turn.  He's A Minstrel checked off Go Emmy Go on the first turn.  Why Not Bazzar faltered approaching the home turn and subsequently tailed off.

Why Not Bazzar underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left back muscle injury.  A 60 day stand down period was imposed. 

Rall's Girl was quick to begin.

Aston Sunset and No Talking collided soon after the start.  Ripplebrook Glen and Camulos collided on the first turn checking Camulos and Midget Rocks.  Rall's Girl and Ripplebrook Glen collided on the first turn.  Aston Sunset and Rall's Girl collided on the second turn.  No Talking and Rall's Girl collided entering the home straight.  

Maximum Coco checked off Bernadette approaching the first turn.  Bernadette and Aston Dimple collided on the first turn.  Dr. Wade checked off Aston Dimple on the first turn.  Aston Solar galloped on Bernadette approaching the home turn checking Aston Solar, Bernadette and Dr. Wade.  Maximum Coco and Bernadette collided on the home turn.  

Why Not Opal, Aston Dynasty, Bell Park Dragon and Dominus collided soon after the start.  Dominus and Bell Park Dragon collided approaching the first turn.  Indy's Happy and Roxy Diva collided approaching the first turn.  Bell Park Dragon and Aston Dynasty collided approaching the first turn.  Aston Dynasty galloped on Why Not Opal on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Bell Park Dragon checked off Dominus approaching the home turn.  Bean's Multi and Indy's Happy collided in the home straight.  Dominus, Bean's Multi and Indy's Happy raced wide in the home straight.

Tippa – New declared weight of 35.1kgs, last raced at 36.5kgs.

A pre-race sample was taken from Crackerjack Olly.

Crackerjack Olly and On The Duck collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn checking Crackerjack Olly.  Mighty Tracey checked off Banjo Glitter on the first turn checking Mighty Tracy, Tippa, severely checking Unreasonable and Crackerjack Olly, Unreasonable fell as a result.  Tippa and Mighty Tracey collided on the home turn.  Banjo Glitter and Dr. Collette collided on the home turn.  

Unreasonable underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right scapula fracture.  A 90 day stand down period was imposed.

Mighty Tracey underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the left hind foot.  A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Missy's Hand was quick to begin.

Zumi's Swagger and Huey's Dream collided on the first turn checking Zumi's Swagger.
