Steward's Report
Blazer Express – Late scratching at 2.49pm due to the greyhound not being presented (non–arrival) (GAR 31). Stewards spoke to Mr. B. Pursell regarding the circumstances surrounding the non-presentation of Blazer Express. After hearing the evidence, Stewards fined Mr. Pursell the sum of $250, however, revoked the stand down penalty of 28 days against Blazer Express.
Tai Pan Agogo was quick to begin. Indy Fido and Three Bears were slow to begin.
Memphis High and Pabbie Bale collided soon after the start. Mempkis High and Three Bears collided approaching the first turn, severely checking Memphis High.. Three Bears and Indy Fido collided on the first turn, checking Indy Fido. Indy Fido raced wide on the home turn.
Memphis High underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
