Stewards were advised the track was lightly harrowed on 29 April 2021.

Jebrynah Umida was quick to begin. 

Bolt Out and Zipping Bambi collided soon after the start.  Jet Legger and Gypsy Vista cllided soon after the start checking Gypsy Vista and Weblec Wave.  Bolt Out and Zipping Bambi collided on the first turn.  Zipping Bambi clipped the heels of Bolt Out approaching the home turn.  Gypsy Vista brushed the running rail approaching the home turn.  Zipping Bambi checked off Bolt Out on the home turn. Weblec Wave and Zipping Bambi raced wide in the home straight. 

Blazer Express – Late scratching at 2.49pm due to the greyhound not being presented (non–arrival) (GAR 31).  Stewards spoke to Mr. B. Pursell regarding the circumstances surrounding the non-presentation of Blazer Express.  After hearing the evidence, Stewards fined Mr. Pursell the sum of $250, however, revoked the stand down penalty of 28 days against Blazer Express.   

Tai Pan Agogo was quick to begin. Indy Fido and Three Bears were slow to begin. 

Memphis High and Pabbie Bale collided soon after the start.  Mempkis High and Three Bears collided approaching the first turn, severely checking Memphis High..  Three Bears and Indy Fido collided on the first turn, checking Indy Fido.  Indy Fido raced wide on the home turn. 

Memphis High underwent a post-race veterinary examination  - no apparent injury was reported. 

Boom Out and Ulyana Bale were slow to begin.

Venomous Yaala and Minnesota Nights collided soon after the start.  Flying Torpedo raced wide on the first turn checking Zipping Pistol.  Minnesota Nights and Venomous Yaala collided approaching the home turn.   Minnesota Nights and Venomous Yaala collided on the home turn and again in the home straight checking both greyhounds. Flying Torpedo raced wide entering the home straight. 

Flying Torpedo underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

Zipping Rafferty underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Gemma Blue, Daph's Extreme and Flo Lava collided soon after the start, checking Daph's Extreme.  Gemma Blue, Flo Lava and Rockstar Ruby collided approaching the first turn.  Gemma Blue clipped the heels of Rockstar Ruby on the first turn, checking Gemma Bue and Daph's Extreme, severely checking Flo Lava and Tanner Max; and causing Rockstar Ruby to fall. 

Rockstar Ruby underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right fore wrist injury.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Roxy Tequila was slow to begin. 

South Song and Daph's Zac collided approaching the first turn.  South Song, Roxy Tequila and Negasi Bale collided on the first turn, checking Roxy Tequila.  Emmy's Shark, Quintana Bale and Speed Star collided on the first turn, checking Quintana Bale which fell as a result. Emmy's Shark and Speed Star collided approaching the home turn, checking Emmy's Shark which collided with Roxy Tequila as a result. 

Quintana Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hind pencil whip injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Riverdale Mitch was slow to begin.

Eternal Ten checked off Slingshot Raven soon after the start.  Eternal Ten and Robber Prince collided several times approaching the first turn, checking Eternal Ten.  Robber Prince and Riverdale Mitch collided approaching the home turn. 

Stewards inquired into the kennel arrangements of Ieisha Bale after being advised that the greyhound was now in New South Wales.  During the course of those inquiries, Stewards ascertained Ieisha Bale was both transferred earlier in the week and was also injured.  Stewards formally withdrew the greyhound at 2.36pm today.  After taking evidence from NSW participant Mr Simon Rhodes, GRV Stewards issued a charge under GAR 23 (1)(b) in that Mr. Rhodes failed to advise the Controlling Body prior to the appointed scratching time of 8.30am on the day of the race to withdraw Ieisha Bale (and ensure the reserve was allocated a run). Mr Rhodes acknowledged an offence, was fined $200 with $100 suspended pending no further breaches of GAR 23 for a 6 month period. In determining penalty, Stewards took into consideration Mr. Rhodes' acknowledgment of the offence, his personal antecedence and submissions on penalty. Against these factors, Stewards considered the need for general deterrence and that a reserve greyhound was denied a start in the race. A veterinary certificate is also required pursuit to GAR 20 (3) (v) before any further nominations are accepted.

Rilynn Bale was quick to begin.  Pay The Prince was slow to begin.

Rilynn Bale and Kiss Your Lips collided approaching the winning post.

Astro Boy – Late scratching at 18.31 pm on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to abrasions to the mouth.  A 3 day stand down period was imposed. 

LaLa Missouri and Devil's Disguise were quick to begin.
