New Punchline - Late scratching at 4.32pm due to the greyhound not being presented (non-arrival) (GAR 31). Due to the circumstances surrounding the non-presentation trainer, Scott James was fined $250.
A pre-race sample was taken from Why Not Lilah.
Long Black Lass and Rip Off Roslyn were slow to begin. Gotham Princess was checked off Why Not Lilah on the first turn and again entering the back straight. Major Bourbski was checked off Rip Off Roslyn on the third turn.
Gotham Princess underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported.
There was no head on vision for this event.
