All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore face masks that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Emma's Will and Aussie Onyx were quick to begin.  Tigers On Fire and Winter's Coming were slow to begin.

Kip Your Star underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request and was found to have a left triangle injury.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

I'm Ace Osti was quick to begin.  Banjo Edition was slow to begin.

Banjo Edition and Burgin Beauty collided approaching the first turn.  Banjo Edition eased on the first turn, turned its head outwards severely checking Burgin Beauty which was checked for the remainder of the event.  Saniyah Bale and I'm Ace Osti collided on the home turn.  I'm Ace Osti checked off Saniyah Bale in the home straight.

Banjo Edition underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have no apparent injury.  Mr. Whitford declined the option to have the greyhound re-vetted.  Stewards spoke to Mr. Trevor Whitford, the trainer regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the first turn.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A(1) Banjo Edition was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Mr. Whitford pleaded guilty to the charge, Banjo Edition was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Cranbourne and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69A (2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

I'm Ace Osti underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.  Stewards spoke to Mr. Michael Niele regarding the greyhounds racing manners soon after the start.  After hearing evidence from Mr Niele, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners.

A post-race sample was taken from Saniyah Bale - winner of the event.   

Retro Reece – Late scratching at 1.09pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer, Mr. Trevor Whitford was fined $100.

Witchie's Gas and Voodoo Spirit were quick to begin.  Mt. View Entry was slow to begin.

Voodoo Spirit and Witchie's Gas collided on the first turn severely checking Witchie's Gas which stumbled, checking Brock's Baileys and Zipping Margo; causing both greyhounds race to wide as a result.  Voodoo Spirit and Callum's Capers collided on the first turn.  Voodoo Spirit checked off Callum's Capers approaching the home turn. 

Witchie's Gas underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

A pre-race sample was taken from Meatball Soup.

Rip Off Roslyn and Little Nellie were slow to begin.

Soda Pee Wee, Meatball Soup and Bit Of Pepper collided soon after the start.  Meatball Soup and Little Nellie collided on the first turn.  Rip Off Roslyn, Meatball Soup and Little Nellie collided approaching the home turn causing Rip Off Roslyn to race wide.  Calabrese Gino and Sensational collided approaching the home turn.  Calabrese Gino checked off Meatball Soup entering the home straight causing Calabrese Gino to collide with Sensational checking Calabrese Gino.  

Kuta Cowboy and Star Burner were slow to begin.

Highway Man and Star Burner collided approaching the first turn.  Kamara Bale, Kuta Cowboy and Highway Man collided approaching the first turn checking Kamara Bale and Kuta Cowboy.  Tiffy's Express and Klopp collided in the back straight checking Tiffy’s Express.  No Way Nellie and Tiffy’s Express collided on the third turn.  

The Stewards declared this event to be a “No Race” in accordance with GAR 55 (2), due to not being satisfied that the positioning & proximity of the lure to the lead greyhound through the first turn of the race, had no affect on the outcome of the event. All weights recorded by greyhounds who competed are void and do not count as the reference point at the greyhounds next start.

The lure underwent testing post-race to ensure it was suitable for further use. After completing several run throughs and test-outs, the Stewards proceeded with racing as scheduled.

The Stewards spoke with the lure driver as to the positioning of the lure through the first turn and refferred the matter to management for further investigation. 

Freckless Brown underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

Romeo Lad, Shen Bree Girl, Barbados Dream, Una Star and Teardrop collided approaching the first turn checking Barbados Dream and Una Star.  Romeo Lad, Shen Bree Girl and Teardrop collided on the first turn checking Shen Bree Girl and Teardrop, causing all three greyhounds to race wide.  Barbados Dream and Teardrop collided on the third turn.  

A pre-race sample was taken from Love Not War.

Get Around Her and Mighty Tuscany were quick to begin.  Love Not War was very slow to begin (5 lengths).

Love Not War and Mt. View Sassy collided on the first turn.  Tiger's Roar, Get Around Her and Zambora Tara collided on the first turn checking Mt. View Sassy and severely checking Get Around Her. Tiger's Roar, Mighty Tuscany and Zambora Tara collided approaching the winning post checking Zambora Tara.  

Mt. View Shark was slow to begin.

Come On Levendi and Walk On Betty collided approaching the first turn.  Pumping Air and Mt. View Shark collided on the first turn.  Walk On Betty and Mt. View Shark collided entering the home straight checking Walk On Betty.  Walk On Betty raced wide in the home straight. 

Una's Boy and Urana Vieri collided soon after the start.  Shanghai Avatar, Barellen Rocket and Brazen King collided on the first turn checking Shanghai Avatar. 

Shaun John, Belt Up Dusty and Knuckles were quick to begin.

My Rocky, Saharrah Blitz and Belt Up Dusty collided approaching the first turn.  Saharrah Blitz, Belt Up Knuckles and Tiger's Crest collided on the first turn.  My Rocky and Tiger’s Crest raced wide on the home turn.
