Go Wild Phil went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin.
Mahogany Boy, Say Again and Lordly collided soon after the start checking Say Again. Spyware and Spectrum collided approaching the first turn. Spyware, Mahogany Boy, Lordly and Chad's Nitro collided approaching the first turn severely checking Lordly which fell checking Go Wild Phil which stumbled. Spyware, Mahogany Boy, Chad's Nitro and Say Again collided on the first turn checking Mahogany Boy and Chad's Nitro. Spectrum and Notty Hornblower collided approaching the home turn.
Notty Hornblower was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left thigh. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Lordly was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury.
