Stewards spoke to Mr B Marshall, the trainer of the greyhound Cawbourne Saleen.  Cawbourne Saleen was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained lower back soreness, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Cawbourne Saleen with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury) and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.

Black Senor and  Go For Daddy were slow to begin.  Shirdon Wee Nell and Rose Fern collided soon after the start.  Dr. Les and Spa Twiggy collided soon after the start.  Black Senor and Sophie's Mate collided approaching the 300m mark.  Sophie's Mate and Spa Twiggy collided at the 200m mark.  Go For Daddy and Spa Twiggy collided at the 150m mark.  Shirdon Wee Nell and Go For Daddy collided approaching the winning post.

Stewards spoke to Mr W McMahon regarding his late arrival to the kennels to prepare Dr. Les for this event.  Stewards reminded Mr W McMahon of his responsibilities.

Ms S Hopkins, trainer of Rhythm System redeclared a new weight of 32.9kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Rhythm System last raced at 31.4kgs.

Mr A Kent, trainer of Cosmic Johno redeclared a new weight of 34.3 kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Cosmic Johno last raced at 35.8kgs.

Make That Call and Cosmic Johno were slow to begin.  Rhythm System crossed to the rail soon after the start and collided with Oh Kay Reg, checking Cosmic Johno, Make That Call and Oh Kay Reg.  Senorita Crisis and Faint Glimpse collided at the 300m mark.  Rhythm System and Lil ' Creeker collided several times from the 300m mark until the 150m mark, checking Lil' Creeker.  Make That Call checked off Faint Glimpse at the 150m mark.

Stewards spoke to Mr A Kent, the trainer of the greyhound Cosmic Johno.  Stewards deemed the performance of Cosmic Johno unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Cosmic Johno must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Horizon Boy and Chocolate Frog were slow to begin.  Dr. Thanos and Here Comes Alex collided soon after the start.  Cawbourne Rocco crossed to the rail soon after the start, checking Grand Legacy, Dr. Thanos, Here Comes Alex and Chocolate Frog.  Boston George and Cawbourne Rocco collided at the 300m mark, checking Grand Legacy and Chocolate Frog.  Chocolate Frog and Horizon Boy collided at the 50m mark, checking Horizon Boy.
