The traditional 2-wave (odds then evens) boxing process has been re-instated for all races in Victoria from Tuesday 10 November 2020. Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times. 

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore face-masks that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

The Stewards were advised that the track was deeply harrowed on 24/11/20.

In accordance with the GRV Hot Weather Policy, this meeting was deemed 'Heat Affected'.  At the commencement of kennelling, the outside temperature was 30.2 degrees and the kennel temperature was 19.4 degrees.  The Stewards continually monitored the temperature at the venue as per the GRV Hot Weather Policy.

Cassia Bale and Burning Betty collided on the first turn. Sin City Agogo and Burning Betty collided approaching the home turn. Sin City Agogo and Burning Betty raced wide entering the home straight and again in the home straight.

Parasite, Amelia Ella and Frothy's Friday collided on the first turn. Barooga Toy and Insomnia Agogo collided on the first turn. Baroogia Toy and Insomnia Agogo collided approaching the home turn severely checking Insomnia Agogo. Parasite raced wide on the home turn. Udeyan Bale raced wide in the home straight. Ribbons and Parasite collided in the home straight.

Insomnia Agogo underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported

Big Little Sis was slow to begin.

White Flower stumbled soon after the start. White Flower and Aston Active collided on the first turn. Aston Active and Mepunga Val collided on the first turn. White Flower and Big Little Sis collided entering the home straight.

Rilynn Bale was quick to begin.

Invictus Benson and Sugar Maple collided soon after the start checking Sugar Maple. Invictus Benson and Whisky Hans collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds. Leyenda and Armour Bale collided approaching the home turn checking Leyenda and Weblec Storm.

Sugar Maple underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left foreleg lost/torn nail. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Frothy's De Goey - Late scratching at 1.20pm due to weight variation (GAR 39).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Trainer J. Campbell was fined $100.
