Steward's Report
Loco Luca – Late scratching at 8:21am on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to a right back muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Lunaray – New declared weight of 29.6kg, last raced at 28.5kg.
A pre-race sample was taken from Dashing Daph.
Lunaray and Emerley Express were slow to begin. Husky Freckle lost ground approaching the first turn and tailed off. Lunaray and Emerley Express raced wide on the home turn and entering the home straight.
Husky Freckle underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right thigh and right groin injury. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
No head-on vision was available for this race.
