Steward's Report
All Staff & Participants attending the race-meeting wore face masks at all times when inside the Kennel Block and Associated Buildings and when engaged in the exclusive race-day functions of handling, boxing, starting & catching greyhounds.
Pursuant to GAR 104 (6) Starter, Mr S.Manning did not act in any official capacity that may have in any way, affected the outcome of this event.
Greysynd Shock, Ice Ghost, Jet Age and Tinker Violet collided soon after the start checking Jet Age, Tinker Violet and Ice Ghost. Mulga Bill and Westar Misty collided approaching the first turn. Whispy Watson and Walkin' Millie collided on the first turn severely checking Walikin' Millie which fell checking Ice Ghost and severely checking Tinker Violet.
Tinker Violet underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right quadriceps injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Whispy Watson underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the trainer's request and was found to have a left thigh injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Walkin' Millie underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the right hind 5th toe. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
