Millie's Wonder was quick to begin. Premier Slice was slow to begin.
Myola Fire and Angelique Bay collided approaching the first turn. Yassie Belle faltered on the first turn. Mario Bale contacted the running rail on the first turn. Inga Riley checked off Millie's Wonder approaching the home turn, checking Premier Slice. Angelique Bay and Premier Slice collided in the home straight.
It was noted the muzzle on Millie's Wonder became partially dislodged during the event.
Mario Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left foreleg monkey muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Yassie Bell underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hindleg fibula injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
