Stewards spoke to Mr. Lee Rowe, the trainer of Magic Trio as some noticeable betting fluctuations were noted by Stewards. The comments of Mr. Rowe were noted, and a pre-race sample was taken for analysis.
Get Around Her was quick to begin.
Hurricane Star, Morosis and Magic Trio collided soon after the start checking Hurricane Star and Magic Trio. Bomber's Train and Battlers Three collided approaching the home turn. Morosis and Captain Goldie collided approaching the home turn checking Captain Goldie. Morosis and Get Around Her collided on the home turn.
Hurricane Star underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no appaprent injury was reported.
