Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Zulu Duchess.
Longstaff and Brindle Fire were slow to begin.
Nicko Dancer checked off Strike The Pose on the first turn checking Zulu Duchess and Brindle Fire, severely checking Nicko Dancer and Another Mirage causing both greyhounds to fall as a result.
Nicko Dancer underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a radius ulna fracture to the left foreleg. A 90 day stand down period was imposed.
Another Mirage underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right tarsal sprain, left back muscle injury, left thigh injury, right monkey muscle injury, left deltoid muscle injury and an abrasion on the nose. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
