Up The Amount was quick to begin.  Captain Turbot, Knocka Out and Dundee Flame were slow to begin.

Eilish's Dream and Mt. View Pearl collided approaching the first turn.  Galiena Bale, Knocka Out and Mt. View Pearl collided on the first turn checking Knocka Out, Dundee Flame, Captain Turbot, Galiena Bale and Mt. View Pearl.  Mt. View Pearl checked Galiena Bale on the home turn.  Captain Turbot and Eilish's Dream collided in the home straight.  Black Jack Tea and Up The Amount collided several times in the home straight checking Black jack Tae and severely checking Up The Amount. 

Bomber's Smokey was quick to begin.

Luigi Bale and Gout Ralph collided soon after the start.  Banjo Edition checked off Gout Ralph approaching the first turn.  Banjo Edition and Gout Ralph collided on the first turn.  Banjo Edition raced wide on the home turn.  Luigi Bale and Spongebob collided entering the home straight.  

Banjo Edition underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right thigh injury.  A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Dewana Lynda, Black Power and Cool Stone were quick to begin.  Shrek's Ninja was slow to begin.

Handy Murray and Wild Nippa collided approaching the first turn causing Handy Murray to brush the running rail and lose ground.  Dewana Lynda checked off Black Power approaching the first turn.  Black Power checked off Cool Stone on the first turn checking Cool Stone.  Cool Stone, Black Power, Galloping Run and Electric Zulu collided on the first turn checking all four greyhounds.  Wild Nippa raced wide approaching the home turn colliding with Cool Stone and Black Power checking Galloping Run, Electric Zulu, severely checking Wild Nippa and Cool Stone, Black Power fell as a result.  

Black Power underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left triangle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Half A Double went up with the lids and was slow to begin.

Horace Bale and Italia Bella collided soon after the start.  Half A Double, Horace Bale, Bomber's Queen and Zereva collided on the first turn checking Half A Double, Bomber's Queen, Zereva, severely checking Horace Bale and Italia Bella, Horace Bale and Italia Bella fell as a result.  Half A Double and Bomber's Queen collided in the home straight.

Half A Double underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right deltoid injury.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Boes High Five checked off Taciana soon after the start.  Banjo Bobby, She's Something and Malizia collided on the first turn checking She's Something.  Mighty Tuscany and Henryk Bale collided on the first turn checking Mighty Tuscany, Henryk Bale and Taciana.  Boes High Five checked off Taciana on the first turn.

Kanga Lights, Little Nellie and Monaco Lights collided soon after the start checking Little Lights.  Pesky Miss, Warm Beer and Monaco Lights collided entering the home straight.  Especial One checked off Kanga Lights approaching the winning post and collided with Crouching Tiger.  

Aussie Onyx was quick to begin.  Shrek's Storm was slow to begin.

Aussie Onyx turned its head outwards and visibly eased approaching the first turn and collided with Celtic Gypsy checking Aussie Onyx, Celtic Gypsy, Captain Goldie and Shrek's Storm.  Ready To Slide and Mrs. Missile collided on the first turn checking Ready To Slide.  Aussie Onyx and Shrek's Storm raced wide on the home turn.  Aussie Onyx and Shrek's Storm collided on the home turn checking both greyhounds.  

Aussie Onyx underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left triangle injury, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to representative Ms. Loren Dalziel regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the first turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Aussie Onyx was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Ms. Dalziel pleaded guilty to the charge, Aussie Onyx was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
