Barooga Franky underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hindleg back muscle injury, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to handler, Mr J Psaila regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight.  After hearing evidence from Mr Psaila, viewing both the side-on and head-on race footage, acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Barooga Franky was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr Psaila pleaded guilty to the charge, Barooga Franky was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial  in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Josie Wags – Late scratching at 8:05 am due to the greyhound being on season (GAR 24).  A 28 day stand down period was imposed. 

Modern Shadow, Ribbons and Our Watto collided soon after the start.  Flame Child and Myola Dawn collided on the first turn.  Flame Child, Myola Dawn, Chasing Summer and Abby's Comet collided approaching the home turn; causing Flame Child and Chasing Summer to fall; severely checking Ribbons, which stumbled.  Myola Dawn and Abby's Comet collided approaching the winning post.

Chasing Summer underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported..

Flame Child underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hindleg calf injury.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Ribbons underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

Impress Shades and Royal Gossip collided on the first turn.  Royal Gossip and Zulu Duchess collided in the home straight.

Iceni Viking underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have soft tissue and spike wounds injuries to the right hindleg toes.  A five day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Ms S Gray, the handler of Iceni Viking, regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Iceni Viking was charged with marring.  Ms Gray pleaded guilty to the charge, Iceni Viking was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Horsham and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Tin Can Sam and Rev Up Angel collided approaching the first turn.  Tin Can Sam, Rev Up Angel, Cyberpunk Tokyo and Abby's Illusion collided on the first turn.  Rev Up Angel and Our Flying Bolt collided on the first turn.

Entranced and Dream Of Me collided approaching the first turn, checking Dream Of Me.  Cheri Clownfish and Brazen Crow collided approaching the first turn, checking Brazen Crow.
