Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times. 

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore face-masks that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Mt. View Nancy, which trailed the field throughout the event , underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have left wrist and monkey muscle injuries.  A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Mt. View Jester and Sister Annie were slow to begin.

Damaged, Arriba Arriba and Sirius Faith collided soon after the start, checking Sirius Faith.  Princess Warrior and Sirius Faith collided on the first turn, checking Sirius Faith.

Nyssa's Girl – Late scratching at 2:14 pm on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to a papilloma on the left hind pad.  A  10 day stand down period was imposed. 

On Gas Blazing was slow to begin.

Miss Trixy, Benefit Summary and Battling Baz collided soon after the start.  Battling Baz, Benefit Summary and Mt. View Sassy collided approaching the first turn, checking Benefit Summary.  Callow Street checked off Benefit Summary on the first turn, checking On Gas Blazing.  On Gas Blazing and Mt. View Sassy collided in the home straight.

A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Nano Nano, a post-race sample was subsequently taken.

Hostile Raven was slow to begin.

Mai Tai Focus, Nano Nano and Nancy Baker collided soon after the start; checking Mai Tai Focus and Nano Nano; severely checking Nancy Baker.  Wacky Wednesday and Follow The Que collided on the first turn.  Nano Nano and Mai Tai Focus collided on the first turn.

Chill Winston was slow to begin.

Galaxy Queen and Tiger's Crest collided soon after the start.  Josie's Call and Wild Slammer collided on the first turn resulting in Wild Slammer losing ground.  Aston Stock galloped on the heels of Josie's Call on the first turn.

Wild Slammer underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left  wrist injury.  A seven day stand down period was imposed.

Tiger Blurton and Molly Tiara were slow to begin.

Winsome Willow, Out Smart 'Em and Fairytale Ending were slow to begin.

Jack's Gone Wild was quick to begin.  Kid Winslow and Master Winslow were slow to begin.

Dust Up, Cracked Pepper and Kinloch Journey collided on the first turn; checking Cracked Pepper, which collided with Kid Winslow.  Cracked Pepper raced wide on the home turn.

Master Winslow underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left foreleg stopper injury.  A 90 day stand down period was imposed.

A post-race sample was taken from Jack's Gone Wild - the winner of the event.
