A pre-race sample was taken from Bejarano.
Dundee Prince was quick to begin. Bejarano and Hird From Bucks were slow to begin. Dundee Prince and Baby Eden collided soon after the start. Bejarano and Hird From Bucks collided on the first turn. Jebrynah Octave and Dundee Prince collided approaching the second turn checking Jebrynah Octave. Dundee Prince and Baby Eden collided entering the home straight. Romeo Lad and Baby Eden collided entering the home straight.
SATISFACTORY TRIAL RESULTS:
Silky Success – 6 months - Field of 4, Distance 311m, Weight 32.3 kg, Box 1, Placed 4th, Time Run 20.11 - Comment: Not Cleared - Faltered soon after the start and tailed off. Silky Success underwent a post-trial veterinary examination and was found to have a left back muscle injury. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.
