I'm A Krakourer, Freya The Slayer and Party Lights collided on the first turn checking Party Lights. Paint Peeler and Smooth Talker collided in the front straight checking Paint Peeler. Party Lights and Smooth Talker collided on the second turn causing Smooth Talker to contact the running rail. Paint Peeler and Broadway Bullet collided in the back straight.

Smooth Talker underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left monkey muscle injury. A 3 day stand day period was imposed.
