Double Supreme and It's My Party were quick to begin.
Tyler Durden and Helen's Teddy collided soon after the start. Fully Roasted, Forcefully and I'm Not Budging collided in front straight severely checking Fully Roasted, Abelero Bale, I'm Not Budging and Helen's Teddy. Tyler Durden and I'm Not Budging collided on the second turn. Fully Roasted and Abelero Bale collided in the back straight. Double Supreme marred Tyler Durden on the home turn checking both greyhounds. I'm Not Budging, Abelero Bale and Helen's Teddy collided on the home turn. Abelero Bale and Fully Roasted collided entering the home straight.
Double Supreme underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no appapent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mr. Tony Tufo, the of Double Supreme regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Double Surpeme was charged with marring. Mr. Tufo pleaded not guilty to the charge, Double Supreme was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Sandown and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
