Steward's Report
Prior to this event, a track light entering the back straight was observed to be non-operational. The Stewards and Track Staff inspected the site and were satisfied that it was suitable to race. The issue was monitored for the remainder of the meeting.
Immersion was slow to begin.
Christo Bale, Short Pork and Yozo Bale collided soon after the start checking Christo Bale. Wild Card and Yozo Bale collided on the first turn. Christo Bale and Yozo Bale collided on the third turn. Yozo Bale and Halbred Bale collided entering the home straight.
A post-race sample was taken from Short Pork - the winner of the event.
