Stewards spoke to Mr.P Connell, the trainer of Sunnyside Pride as some noticeable betting fluctuations were noted by Stewards. The comments of Mr Connell were noted.
Sunnyside Pride and Bomber's Train were slow to begin. Betty Spolly and Go Gem were quick to begin. Sunnyside Pride, Bodine, Ripplebrook Snip and Bomber's Train collided on the first turn checking Sunnyside Pride, Ripplebrook Snip and Bomber's Train. Sunnyside Pride and Devika Bale collided approaching the home turn. Bomber's Train and Sunnyside Pride collided on the home turn checking Bomber's Train and Devika Bale. Ripplebrook Snip was checked off Devika Bale on the home turn.
Go Gem underwent a post race veterinary examination following a fall after the winning post. No apparent injury was reported.
