Steward's Report
Scott Worth It - Late scratching at 5.42pm on 21.10.20 due to the greyhound being on season (GAR 24). A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
Five Sisters was slow to begin. Max Ruby and Gap Cabang collided approaching the first turn. Shock Horror and Max Ruby collided approaching the first turn. Gap Cabang visibly eased and turned its head approaching the winning post.
Gap Cabang underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the left back muscle. A 3 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr Gregory Berry regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Gap Cabang was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Berry pleaded guilty to the charge, Gap Cabang was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
