Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Dyna Aakil.
King Brown Trav checked off Oakvale Cruiser soon after the start. Skittle crossed in approaching the first turn severely checking Oakvale Cruiser and Dyna Xervo and checking Soda King. Soda King and What Price Bucks collided approaching the home turn. Dyna Aakil turned its head out and visibly eased in the home straight checking Skittle: Skittle and Dyna Aakil raced wide as a result.
Dyna Aakil underwent a post race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Mr.Giddings declined the option of having the greyhound re-vetted.
Stewards spoke to Mr. Mark Giddings, the trainer of Dyna Aakil regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A(1) Dyna Aakil was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Giddings pleaded guilty to the charge. Dyna Aakil was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Sale and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(A)(2)(a) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
