Steward's Report
Hazardous Rumour and Kraken Thunder collided soon after the start checking Kraken Thunder. Scorching Sun and Tysons Town collided on the first turn checking Tysons Town. Clan McMillan and Hazardous Rumour collided approaching the home turn. Big Coin Buddy and Kraken Thunder raced wide in the home straight. Scorching Sun turned its head out approaching the winning post.
Big Coin Buddy underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left monkey muscle injury. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
Tysons Town underwent a post-race veterinary examination after falling in the catching pen and was found to have a left hind triangle muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Scorching Sun underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 8. Scorching Sun was found to have a left monkey muscle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to representative Mr. G. Joske regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1) Scorching Sun was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Joske pleaded guilty to the charge, Scorching Sun was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(B)(1)(a) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
