Blazing Xeni was a late scratching at 12:12pm when trainer Mr. J Sharp reported the greyhound to have an illness. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.
A pre-race sample was taken from Dutch Ambition.
King Of Dads and Dutch Ambition collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn. Riverdale Tommy and Irving collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds. Dutch Ambition checked off King Of Dads entering the home straight.
