Steward's Report
Pure Cool Titan, Zipping Walter and Suvla Bay collided soon after the start. Elvisa Bale and I'm Not Budging collided soon after the start. Circumstance checked off Pure Cool Titan approaching the first turn. Elvisa Bale checked off Zipping Walter approaching the second turn and collided with Suvla Bay. Suvla Bay checked off I'm Not Budging on the third turn. Pure Cool Titan and Suvla Bay collided approaching the home turn. Circumstance marred Pure Cool Titan entering the home straight checking Suvla Bay.
Circumstance was vetted following the event. It was reported the greyhound sustained an injury to the right hamstrings, a 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr M. Delbridge, Trainer of Circumstance regarding the greyhound's racing manners entering the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Circumstance was charged with marring. Mr Delbridge pleaded guilty to the charge, Circumstance is suspended for 28 days at The Meadows and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
Stewards spoke to Ms C Brinsley regarding her conduct in the stewards room during an inquiry after this event, and issued her with a warning.
