Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore facemasks/covers that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operation.

Carry On Liam was slow to begin.  Kasemi crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Carry On Liam.  Runaway Lad and Departure Gate collided soon after the start.  Dr. Ryker crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Carry On Liam.  Colden Express galloped on Dr. Ryker on the first turn checking Carry On Maxwell, Carry On Star and Kasemi.  Kasemi raced wide as a result.  Departure Gate and Carry On Liam collided on the first turn.  Carry On Liam raced wide as a result.  Dr. Ryker and Carry On Star collided several times approaching the second turn and again on the second turn.  Departure Gate checked off Dr. Ryker approaching the third turn checking Carry On Liam.  Departure Gate and Dr. Ryker collided on the home turn and again entering the home straight.

Dr. Ryker was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right deltoid and left triangle muscle, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

La La Oregon was slow to begin.  Kiss Your Lips crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Karma Bale, Surella Bale, Nevilla Bale and Flying Unicorn.  Flying Unicorn, Karma Bale and Kiss Your Lips collided approaching the first turn checking Nevilla Bale.  Surella Bale checked off La La Oregon on the first turn checking Flying Unicorn, Karma Bale, Kiss Your Lips and Nevilla Bale.  Karma Bale checked off Flying Unicorn on the third turn.  Flying Unicorn checked off Kiss Your Lips on the home turn.  Lala Phoenix and La La Oregon collided approaching the winning post.

Pure Cool Titan, Zipping Walter and Suvla Bay collided soon after the start.  Elvisa Bale and I'm Not Budging collided soon after the start.  Circumstance checked off Pure Cool Titan approaching the first turn.  Elvisa Bale checked off Zipping Walter approaching the second turn and collided with Suvla Bay.  Suvla Bay checked off I'm Not Budging on the third turn.  Pure Cool Titan and Suvla Bay collided approaching the home turn.  Circumstance marred Pure Cool Titan entering the home straight checking Suvla Bay.

Circumstance was vetted following the event.  It was reported the greyhound sustained an injury to the right hamstrings, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to Mr M. Delbridge, Trainer of Circumstance regarding the greyhound's racing manners entering the home straight.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1)  Circumstance was charged with marring.  Mr Delbridge pleaded guilty to the charge, Circumstance is suspended for 28 days at The Meadows and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Stewards spoke to Ms C Brinsley regarding her conduct in the stewards room during an inquiry after this event, and issued her with a warning.

Pair Of Nines was slow to begin.  Dustification and Cousin Niall were quick to begin.  Crackerjack Kane and Boombox Robbie collided soon after the start.  Dustification, Crackerjack Kane, Boombox Robbie and Stretch Butler collided on the first turn checking Stretch Butler and Cosmic Sparkle.  Pair Of Nines and Idria Bale collided on the first turn and again on the second turn.  Idria Bale and Stretch Butler collided in the back straight.  Stretch Butler and Cosmic Sparkle collided approaching the home turn.  Crackerjack Kane and Cousin Niall collided in the home straight.

Houdini Boy was slow to begin.  Mepunga Pegasus and Spearhead collided soon after the start.  Mepunga Pegasus checked off Silver Smarty on the first turn.  Two Up Thommo and I'm Easy Boys collided on the first turn.  Trindad Scorpion, Houdini Boy and Silver Smarty collided approaching the second turn checking Trindad Scorpion and Houdini Boy.  Silver Smarty, Two Up Thommo, I'm Easy Boys and Mepunga Pegasus collided on the home turn checking Trindad Scorpion and Two Up Thommo.  Mepunga Pegasus marred Inga Mia in the home straight.

Shaw,  Representative of Mepunga Pegasus regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Mepunga Pegasus was charged with marring. Mr Shaw pleaded not guilty to the charge, Mepunga Pegasus was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at The Meadows and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Rock And Roll was slow to begin.  Zipping Sullivan and Who Told Stevie collided soon after the start.  Weblec Ace, Abelero Bale and Lektra Yoyo collided soon after the start.  Lektra Yoyo and Who Told Stevie collided on the first turn checking Lektra Yoyo, severely checking Who Told Stevie which raced wide.  Abelero Bale and Rockstar Prince collided on the first turn.  Lektra Yoyo and Who Told Stevie collided on the second turn checking Who Told Stevie.

Who Told Stevie was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Dewana Success was slow to begin.  Dewana Classic, Capture Bart and Winlock Thor collided approaching the first turn.  Dewana Classic, Capture Bart, Winlock Thor, Dewana Success, Ellias Bale and Kismet Storm collided on the first turn checking Dewana Success and Winlock Thor, severely checking Ellias Bale and causing Capture Bart to fall.  Dewana Classic and Kismet Storm collided on the second turn checking Kismet Storm.  Winlock Thor checked off Kismet Storm approaching the home turn.

Immersion was quick to begin.  Zipping Samara and Madam Rosmerta collided soon after the start.  Belle Ali and Fancy Francene collided approaching the first turn.  Zipping Samara checked off Belle Ali approaching the first turn.  Wonder Miss, Belle Ali, Fancy Francene and Zero Cool collided on the first turn checking Belle Ali, Fancy Francene, Zipping Samara, Madam Rosmerta and Zero Cool.  Wonder Miss and It's My Party collided on the second turn checking It's My Party and Zero Cool.  It's My Party checked off Zero Cool on the third turn.  Fancy Francene checked off Zipping Samara on the home turn.  Wonder Miss marred Immersion approaching the winning post.

Enter The Son and Brady's Shout were slow to begin.  Brady's Shout, My Girl Kizzy and Mepunga Felix collided on the first turn.  Helen's Teddy and Road To Success collided on the first turn.  Helen's Teddy and Brady's Shout collided in the front straight.  Brady's Shout and My Girl Kizzy collided approaching the third turn checking My Girl Kizzy.  Road To Success checked off Mepunga Felix on the third turn.
