A pre-race sample was taken from Headwall.
Posterior Chain and Swift Current were quick to begin.
Posterior Chain and Swift Current collided on the first turn checking Posterior Chain, Swift Current, My Name's Barry and Autumn Haze. Autumn Haze shifted out and marred Typhoon Tessie in the home straight.
Autumn Haze underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the left deltoid muscle.
Stewards spoke to Mr G. Walker, the trainer of Autumn Haze regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Autumn Haze was charged with marring. Mr Walker pleaded guilty to the charge, Autumn Haze is suspended for 28 days at Shepparton and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
