Ginger Meggs - The frequency of racing was discussed with Trainer Mr J. Galea, Stewards noted his comments
Ginger Meggs was quick to begin. Chebika Oasis was slow to begin.
All Inn Dungee checked off Firefly Star soon after the start. Motor Ace checked off Jodie's Boy on the first turn. Jodie's Boy shifted out and marred Ginger Meggs on the home turn. Jodie's Boy and Laughed A Lot collided in the home straight.
Jodie's Boy underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke to Ms P. Marek , the handler of Jodie's Boy regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Jodie's Boy was charged with marring. Ms Marek pleaded guilty to the charge, Jodie's Boy is suspended for 28 days at Shepparton and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
